Information Levaloop handles
Learner records
Teachers may create learner profiles containing names, learning history, lesson notes, reviews, progress information and other educational context they choose to provide.
Recordings and transcripts
Teachers may record or upload lesson audio or video for transcription and review. Learner practice can also include voice responses. These materials are used to provide the requested learning features and remain behind authorised access.
AI processing
Levaloop uses AI to transcribe, analyse and generate educational material from authorised lesson and learner context. AI output can be imperfect, and teacher-facing outputs remain subject to teacher review before they are shared.
Service providers
Supabase
Supabase provides database, authentication and storage infrastructure used for private Levaloop records.
OpenAI
OpenAI processes content sent to AI features such as transcription, review generation and learner activities. Levaloop uses server-side API access rather than exposing its provider credentials to users.
Vercel
Vercel provides application hosting and delivery infrastructure for the Levaloop service.
Stripe
Stripe processes subscription and payment information. Levaloop does not use Stripe to process lesson recordings or learner educational content.
Purpose, access and control
Why data is used
Information is used to operate accounts, provide requested educational features, preserve learner continuity, support security, administer subscriptions and improve service reliability.
Teacher responsibility
Teachers are responsible for having the authority and any consent required to submit or record learner information, particularly where a learner is a child.
Access and deletion requests
Requests to access, correct or delete personal information can be made through the contact address published on the Contact page. Some information may need to be retained where required for security, billing, legal obligations or dispute handling.
Security
Levaloop uses private storage, authenticated access, ownership checks and server-side credentials to restrict access to teacher and learner records. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
International processing
Infrastructure and AI providers may process information in countries different from the teacher or learner. Levaloop uses service providers and technical safeguards appropriate to the service being provided.
Retention
Account, learning and operational records are retained according to their role in providing the service, preserving learning continuity, meeting security or billing needs, and responding to valid deletion requests. Specific automatic retention periods may differ by data type.
